XV Network of University Ombudsperson Offices (Red de Organismos Defensores de los derechos Universitarios-REDDU in Spanish) Meeting: “Human Rights within Universities”
The University of Veracruz will hold the XV REDDU’s Meeting on October 18 and 19, 2018, about “Human Rights within Universities”.
On this occasion, three discussion panels will take place: 1) “Human Right to Education at Public Universities” to discuss about the right to education of people not accepted by universities due to lack of capacity, space and related issues; 2) “Violence at Universities: How to Prevent It” to discuss about violence from different perspectives, such as physical, sexual, psychological, gender and other types of violence; and 3) “Mental Health and Academic Rights” to talk about the main challenges universities face in relation to their communities’ mental health.
