Disciplinary and liabilities procedures

According to the General Statute, the directors of faculties and schools must preserve the order in their respective schools. To achieve this, they have the authority to implement disciplinary and liabilities procedures. During these procedures students and academic personnel have the following rights:

a) Principle of legality

The acts to be considered against university order and discipline and the enforceable actions must be stated in the university laws.

b) Right to be heard and to provide evidence in disciplinary procedures

Students have the right to put forward arguments and provide evidence to the University Tribunal. Also, students can appeal provisional suspensions issued by faculty and school directors to the University Tribunal.

It must be said that everything related with the exercise of this right is explicitly excluded from the jurisdiction of the OOAR, according to its Statute and Rules of Procedure.
